The House of Love return!
Next February already has the live return of Slint and the Wedding Present, and now the House of Love have announced their reformation. Even more surprisingly, it sees Guy Chadwick AND original guitarist Terry Bickers back together again! The news dribbled out on the NME site a few days ago, although I've only noticed it today, and I hadn't heard from any other sources.

    House of Love announce Irish tour dates
    The House of Love are to mark their first album release in 11 years with an Irish tour in early 2005.

    The new album 'Days Run Away' is due to be released on 25 February 2005, with the first single from that album 'Love You Too Much' hitting the shops on 14 February next.

    Original guitarist Terry Bickers, who left the band in 1990, rejoined the group for the recording of the upcoming album, which also features original drummer Pete Evans.

    26 January 2005 - Belfast, The Limelight
    27 January 2005 - Derry, The Nerve Centre
    28 January 2005 - Dublin, The Village
    29 January 2005 - Cork, Cyprus Avenue

    Ticket prices are as follows: Belfast £13; Derry £12 (available from the Nerve Centre Box Office); Dublin €22.50 and Cork €20 (available from Cyprus Avenue and PLUGD Records).
