Peepholes, the synth and drums duo of Katia Barrett and Nick Carlisle, have finally released their debut album, The Overspill! (Upset the Rhythm). Continuing on from their well received EP Caligula, the Overspill! moves even further away from traditional song. The album is made up from recordings of improvised sessions in two intense days at Power Lunches in Dalston earlier this year, which were then edited over six months into the finished piece.
Their official album launch is tonight (29th November) in the Bussey Building. Facebook event is here. I saw them there once, they were ace!
